MEP Proposed Sectoral Sanctions Against Belarusian Cement

The industry is fully owned by the regime.

MEP Adam Jarubas has addressed to the European Council asking why there is no cement industry among the sectors of the economy of Belarus, subject to sanctions. He believes that this should be corrected, reports Euroradio.

The arguments of the deputy in favor of sanctions in this area are as follows: the industry is fully owned by the state and the regime earns from selling cement to the European countries as well.
