JOINT STATEMENT BY THE IOC, THE WORLD FEDERATION OF ATHLETICS AND THE AIU

Following the incident involving Belarusian athlete Krystsina Tsimanouskaya at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and the IOC decision to cancel and revoke the accreditation of two coaches, Artur Shumak and Yury Moisevich, as an interim measure, the IOC and the World Athletics Federation together with the AIU have agreed to continue the investigation and open a formal procedure against the two above-mentioned coaches.

In this regard, it was agreed that the process will be coordinated by the Independent Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) with the full cooperation and support of the IOC.
