Russia's New Ambassador Gryzlov Heads To Minsk

He has already received his credentials from the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The new Russian Ambassador to Belarus, Boris Gryzlov, headed for Minsk on January 27, reports TASS with reference to Russian Foreign Minister ?Sergei Lavrov.

On Thursday, January 27, Sergei Lavrov presented credentials signed by Putin to Boris Gryzlov.

Russian media unanimously referred to Gryzlov as a political heavyweight who is well-connected and trusted by Putin. People of Gryzlov's calibre are appointed to such positions for a good reason.
