Elections In Latvia Bring Surprising Results

Pro-Russian parties did not make it to the Seimas.

After counting 100% of ballots it became known that the ruling party in Latvia, Attīstībai/Par, did not pass the 5% threshold and will not receive representation in the 14th Seimas, which slightly changes the whole parliamentary arrangement, reports Delfi.

The top three winners remain the same - New Unity, the Union of Greens and Farmers and the United List.

The final results of elections to the 14th Seimas are as follows:

New Unity - 18.97% (26 mandates)

The Greens and Farmers Union - 12.44% (16 mandates)

United List - 11.01% (15 mandates)

National Union - 9.29 per cent (13 mandates)

Stabilitātei! - 6.80% (11 mandates)

Latvia in First Place - 6.24% (9 mandates)

The Progressives - 6.16% (10 mandates).

The pro-Russian party Concordia and the Russian Union of Latvia are left out of the 14th Seimas.
