AFU Defeat 'Elite' Pskov Airborne Unit In Davydiv Brid

Two days before the defeat, the Russian paratroopers had promised to hold the key settlement.

The village of Davydiv Brid, which was reported to have been liberated on October 4, was under the occupation of airborne troops from Pskov, Russia.

This was reported by Russian propaganda Tg channels covering the "special operation", dialog.ua reported.

One of the Russian propaganda resources assures that the paratroopers promised to keep the village under their control two days before the defeat. Fortunately, they failed to do so.

"The paratroopers said: 'We have not retreated and will not retreat, despite the enemy's overwhelming advantage in manpower and equipment, we have burned them down and will continue to do so,'" the resource reported.

In general, the Russian front has collapsed in the north of Kherson region. Russian journalist Yulia Latynina spoke about what is happening in the area.

"Russia has thrown everything it could to repel a Ukrainian attack in Kherson region near Davydiv Brid. As a result, it left the front in Beryslav bare. Consequently, armoured vehicles moved along the bank of the Kakhovka reservoir. By the way, mainly Russian military equipment was captured in Balaklia. A new mousetrap is forming there, which will not be from Davydiv Brid to Beryslav, but from Beryslav to Davydiv Brid with the saddest consequences," the journalist said.
