Several settlements have already been taken under control.
The de-occupation of the Luhansk region has begun, several settlements have already been liberated from the invaders.
This was announced by Head of the Luhansk regional military administration Serhiy Haidai in a video message on Telegram.
"The de-occupation of the Luhansk region has begun. Several settlements have already been liberated from the Russian army, Russian invaders," he said.
According to Haidai, the invaders understand that "they are being smashed", so they try to mine all the roads and buildings as much as possible.
"Don't run ahead of the train, don't try to pack your things and go back. We will tell you when and where to return. It is necessary that the front line be moved somewhere further by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and only then it will be possible to enter certain settlements," said the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.
He noted the need to clear the territory, because, for instance, in Kreminna, the occupiers scatter petal mines, which are designed to cripple people and tear off limbs.
Haidai also spoke about the delivery of humanitarian aid by the Hirske City Military and Civil Administration together with the Angels of Salvation charity foundation to Bilohorivka.
“For the first time we visited the settlement after so many months of war. Destroyed to the ground, it never surrendered to the invaders. 15 local residents are finally free to go outside and are happy to see their people,” he added.
