The Ukrainian army has a strategy to liberate this section of the Mykolaiv region.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are working on the liberation of the Kinburn Spit. This is the only section of the Mykolaiv region of Ukraine, which is under the occupation of the Russian Federation.
