'10 Men Every 20 Minutes': Russia 'Disposing' Of Its Soldiers Near Bakhmut

The report of the Ukrainian Svoboda battalion's commander.

Svoboda battalion commander Petro Kuzik, in an interview for Apostrof TV, described the enemy's new tactics near Bakhmut. The National Guard officer shared operational information on the situation in one of the hottest spots on the Ukrainian fronts.

Petro Kuzik explained that the situation is difficult, but controlled.

Svoboda's commander said: "Right now they are working in small units. That is obvious, in order to avoid being hit by our artillery. This is a scary tactic for a normal person, because small groups are constantly being destroyed. They are easier to destroy, but they are constantly attacking. It's a big morale strain on the defenders."

A National Guard major spoke in detail about the enemy's tactics at Bakhmut: "Their tactics change not only in terms of strategy and plans, but also in terms of the assault units that come out. Previously we were being stormed by puppies, and they had the tactic of letting the puppies in ahead of them, demining minefields and barriers. They look at where there are firing points, which they destroy the convicts, and then cover them with artillery. Then more professional squads come up. They specialize in night work. They storm in small groups, but constantly. This puts psychological pressure on the defenders, because they have to kill 5, 7, 10 people every 20 minutes all the time. That's how it happens."

"This is not a joke, we have already thought that maybe this is how they "recycle" their prisoners, because they do not have money to feed and support them. It's an option," summed up Petro Kuzik.
