The best result among the Belarusians was shown by Alimbekava, who was ranked 15th.

On February 11 the Belarusian biathletes took part in a 7.5km sprint at the Beijing Olympics. Our countrywomen were left without medals.

Dinara Alimbekava was the best in the race, coming 15th. She was 1 minute 28.5 seconds behind the winner Marte Olsbu Røiseland. The Belarusian made one miss when shooting standing, reports euroradio.fm.

Silver went to Swede Elvira Eberg of Sweden and bronze to Italian athlete Dorothea Virer.

Hanna Sola is 26th (she missed three shots on the second range), Iryna Leshchanka is 60th and Alena Kruchynkina is 69th.

After yesterday's poor performance, the freestylists recorded a "penitential" video for the National Olympic Committee, in the style of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption. Will the biathletes be recording the same video today?
