Belarusians Are On Side Of Ukraine

One of the leaders of the Belarusian opposition has supported the Ukrainian people.

Andrei Sannikov, one of the leaders of the Belarusian opposition, coordinator of the European Belarus civil campaign and presidential candidate in the elections of 2010, supported the people of Ukraine:

- Last night Russia crossed the fatal line and launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. All responsibility for this insane decision lies with Putin. No one should have any doubts: a terrible crime against humanity is being committed. Russia has launched an invasive war against Ukraine, with enormous casualties, including those of the civilian population.

In this difficult time, I would like to express the unconditional support of the Belarusians for the people and the Government of Ukraine. The world is on your side, you will defeat the aggressor and defend your right to freedom and independence.
