British Intelligence: Russia Lost Ability For Offensive Operations In Ukraine

The losses of the occupiers are too high.

Russia is re-deploying troops to re-staff its units because of the serious losses in the war with Ukraine. At the same time, as a result of these losses, not only offensive operations, but also the defence of previously occupied territory is difficult for Russia, says a fresh British intelligence report, zn.ua informs.

According to the intelligence, Russia is now redeploying forces from such distant locations as the Eastern Military District, the Pacific Fleet and Armenia. The Russian Federation is also seeking help from other states and mercenaries.

"So many Russian military men are killed by Ukrainian resistance that the Russians will probably not attempt offensive operations in the near future, but will wait for rotations and reserves...," said Defense One executive editor Kevin Baron.
