Talks Between Russia And Ukraine Frozen: Erdogan Gave Reason

Turkish President has drawn attention to facts that have shocked the world.

Turkey will continue to make all necessary efforts to end hostilities in Ukraine and achieve sustainable peace between Moscow and Kyiv, Anadolu Agency writes.

"Achieving a ceasefire and then a lasting peace between our two neighbours will be one of the best things done in the name of humanity," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

The Turkish president also noted that the attacks on civilians in Ukraine had put a brake on the successful progress of the talks between Moscow and Kyiv mediated by Ankara. He said the sides had made tangible progress in the talks, but footage from Bucha and Irpen and the use of civilians in Kramatorsk as targets cast a shadow over all the efforts of the negotiating teams.

President Erdogan expressed confidence that a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian crisis could be found through dialogue and by preserving Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
