National Bank Of Belarus To Stop Selling Gold

What is it about?

From July 1, the National Bank will stop selling and buying bullion of precious metals. This applies to both individuals and sole proprietors and companies.

The regulator explains why such a decision has been made and specifies that banks will continue selling and buying such bullions.

"The decision was taken as part of the optimization of the National Bank. Purchase and sale of bullion of precious metals will still be possible in banks and non-bank financial institutions which carry out these operations," the National Bank said.
