Lukashenka Dismissed Ambassador Of Belarus To Poland

The decree has been published today.

Lukashenka has dismissed Ambassador of Belarus to Poland Uladzimir Chusheu.

The corresponding decree was published on the National Legal Internet Portal on May 14, reports zerkalo.io.

Uladzimir Chusheu has held the post of Belarusian ambassador to Poland since March 2019. In October 2020, Poland and Belarus mutually recalled their ambassadors: Polish Ambassador to Belarus Artur Michalski, as well as Belarusian Ambassador to Poland Uladzimir Chusheu, left "for consultations".

This happened amid the worsening of relations between the countries after the presidential election in 2020.

Belarus has been represented in Poland by the chargé d'affaires of the Belarusian Embassy in Warsaw since then.
