Developments on Major Fronts in Ukraine: AFU General Staff’s Report

Which directions are the hottest now.

The AFU General Staff described the situation on the fronts at the beginning of the 90s to confront a full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation. The enemy is carrying out an intensive fire action along the entire line of contact and deep in the defence line of our troops in the Donetsk, Slobozhansk and Yuzhnobug operational areas.

This was reported by the AFU General Staff.

The highest combat activity is noted in the Donetsk operational area, precisely near Lysychansk and Severodonetsk.

In the Seversk direction, the enemy continues to carry out activities in order to strengthen the cover of the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Bryansk and Kursk regions and prevent the redeployment of our troops to other directions. Engineering equipment of positions in the areas of the Pogar international road border crossing point and the Sluchevsk settlement of the Bryansk region has been noted.

The enemy carried out an air strike on our troops' positions near Bilopillia, the Sumy region.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy grouping focuses on holding the occupied positions and improving its tactical position. In particular, the enemy conducts storming operations to consolidate its positions on the western and northern outskirts of the village of Ternova.

In the Slavyansk direction, enemy units are preparing to resume the offensive. To support the offensive, the aggressor has deployed additional cannon artillery units in the southern part of Izyum.

In the Donetsk direction, the enemy is focused on an offensive operation to encircle Lysychansk and Severodonetsk with subsequent access to the administrative border of the Luhansk region.

In the Severodonetsk direction, the enemy, supported by artillery, conducts assault operations in the directions of Toshkivka and Ustinovka.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy has improved its tactical position near the village of Vasylivka.

The enemy used artillery and aviation to hit our units in the Avdiivka, Kurakhivka and Novopavlivka directions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the occupants reinforce the troops to resume offensive actions in the direction of Vasylivka-Kamenskoye. They carry out regrouping.

In the Yuzhnobug direction, the enemy concentrates its main efforts to retain the occupied frontiers.

In Kryvyi Rih and Mykolayiv directions, the enemy does not cease artillery fire on the positions of our troops.

In the Black Sea and Azov operational zones, the situation has not changed significantly.

The enemy continues to use terror tactics against the Ukrainian civilian population in the captured territories and the socio-economic situation in the south and east of Ukraine is deteriorating.

Over the past 24 hours, 16 enemy attacks were repelled in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, 8 tanks, 22 pieces of armoured fighting equipment and one enemy vehicle were destroyed.

Aviation units of the Air Force and air defence of the Ground Forces destroyed six UAVs, an enemy cruise missile and 30 armoured combat vehicles.

The General Staff notes the Russian Army was relocating Iskander-M missile systems to the border with Ukraine.
