AFU General Staff Reports New Success In Donbas

In some directions Ukrainian fighters forced the enemy to retreat.

The Russian occupants conduct the arrangement of new positions in the area of Mykolayivka.

Ukrainian defenders, meanwhile, once again ruined the plans of the occupiers and stopped the enemy offensive.

"In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy shelled our positions from mortars, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of Spornoe, Berestovoye, Belogorivka, Klinovoye and Zaytsevo settlements. An army air strike was recorded near Pokrovskoye. Our soldiers detected and neutralized subversive and reconnaissance groups near Spornoye and Yakovlivka, and repulsed an assault in the direction of Klinovo. The enemy offensive in the area of Berestovo and Vershina settlements was stopped. The occupants retreated. The enemy is setting up new positions, including checkpoints in the Nikolayevka area," a morning report from the AFU General Staff says.

It also became known that Ukrainian fighters had some success near Verkhnekamenka and made the enemy retreat.
