Zelensky: Where We Lose One, Russia Loses Five
VOLODYMYR ZELENSKY

The President of Ukraine has spoken about the ratio of losses in the war with Russia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that the ratio of losses in Ukraine's war with Russia is currently one to five in our favour.

He said this in an interview with the US NBC TV channel, Novoe Vremya writes.

At the same time, Zelensky stressed that the Russian Federation still has more potential.

"Where we lose one person, Russia loses five. Where we lose one tank, they lose five. Yes, we are struggling. But we have to be fair and say that it is really hard for us. Because for one our tank they have ten of theirs, for one our fighter they have ten. No matter how strong we are, but there are ten times more of them. It is difficult for us, but we are holding on," the Ukrainian head of state explained.

According to him, in some sections, the Ukrainian defenders are pushing back the Russian invaders, whereas they were forced to retreat from some positions because of the numerical superiority of the enemy.

"Everyone must understand that this is not our war. It is not just a war between Russia and Ukraine, it is a war between the entire civilised world and the Russian Federation, its military and political leadership, its army. We cannot do it alone, and thank God we get help," Zelensky added.
