Ukrainian defenders defeated a Russian special forces Mercury unit in Kharkiv region. At least 18 occupants were killed and many more were wounded.

Journalist Roman Tsimbalyuk reported about this. According to him, the Russian army suffered these losses back on July 21, when the artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine got on the stick.

"A missile strike was launched against the positions of the 25th separate special-purpose Mercury detachment (the military unit 7459, Smolensk) of the Russian National Guard troops in Kharkiv Region. As a result of the strike, 18 servicemen were killed, more than 19 were wounded, and 5 are listed as 'missing'," he said.
