AFU Colonel: Russians Throw Their Last Strategic Reserve Into Battle
Volodyslav Seleznev

The 3rd Army Corps is being sent to war in Ukraine.

Military expert and colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volodyslav Seleznev says the Russians will throw the operational reserve of the strategic level, the so-called third army corps, into battle.

Seleznev stated this in a commentary for Espresso.

"As for Russian forces and means on the territory of the Kursk and Belgorod regions, at least three battalion-tactical groups are now deployed in the Kursk region. It is clear that it makes no sense for the Russians to attack the state border with such forces. The Ukrainian defense forces will destroy these enemy combat formations. The remnants of the 114th Motorized Rifle Division stay in the Belgorod region and are now dispersed, because they pull certain units out from there and send them to the most critical sectors of the front," said the expert.

Seleznev notes things are going bad for the occupants. They have to prepare their last strategic reserve for sending to the front.

"As for the operational reserve of the strategic level, the so-called third army corps, which has not even completed its formation yet, it has up to four thousand pieces of equipment and appropriate personnel, which has now received a command and will soon start going to the front. It's symptomatic that Russians are throwing virtually their last strategic reserve into the battle. Things are not so good for the enemy. The precise strikes by Ukrainian HIMARS and long-range artillery aim at the easing of enemy positions, that is, destroying depots, arsenals, equipment retention areas, and personnel. This is a successful method that allows us to seriously weaken the combat positions of the Russian occupants," the colonel added.
