The explosions are confirmed by the occupation "administration" and residents of the city.

The explosions at the Saki airfield have made the Russians seriously nervous and stepped up their defence of the Crimean bridge. However, the precise strikes by the AFU did not appear to be the last shock to the occupiers: at least four explosions occurred at the Belbek airfield near Sevastopol after 11 p.m. on August 18. This was reported by Reuters.

According to the source, the explosions were heard north of Sevastopol. Reuters' information was also confirmed by Crimean telegram channels citing local residents. In particular, Crimea Wind wrote that residents of Sevastopol and the neighbouring village of Bakhchisarai district, in addition to the explosions, heard gunfire near the airfield.

According to the channel, up to 40 Russian fighter planes were at the Belbek airfield at the time of the explosions. Sevastopol's occupation "administration", represented by Mikhail Razvozhayev, confirmed the explosions, but noted that Russian air defence "shot down a drone". He also stated that "no one was injured and there was no damage".

At the same time, the Emergency Sevastopol telegram channel notes that immediately after the explosions, EMERCOM vehicles headed in the direction of Belbek.
