AFU Seize Important Railway Junction From Russian Forces

The enemy used to send military equipment to the territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions through it.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have recaptured Kupyansk-Uzlovy in Kharkiv Region from the occupants and have almost full control over it. This settlement was an important logistics point for the Russians.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Sinegubov, during a TV marathon, rbc.ua reported.

According to him, about 6 per cent of Kharkiv Region's territories are still occupied, but after this success of the AFU "there is slightly less".

"Indeed, the Russians had a few important directions - this is Izyum, the so-called 'Izyum Heights'. Conventionally speaking, the route by which the enemy directed their military equipment to the territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, where they strengthened their presence. And, of course, Kupyansk-Uzlovy is one of the biggest railway logistic junctions in the territory of Kharkiv region, which since the beginning of full-scale war was occupied and was quite strongly defended and held by the enemy. Thanks to the successful military operation, the AFU has indeed now recaptured it and is in fact in full control," Sinegubov said.
