A special statement from the Foreign Ministry has been published.

The illegitimate dictator Lukashenka visited Abkhazia (a part of Georgia that is occupied by Russia).

The Georgian Foreign Ministry summoned Belarusian Ambassador Anatol Lis in connection with Lukashenka's visit to Abkhazia, the Georgian Foreign Ministry's press service said on Facebook on September 29.

The statement stressed that "the Georgian side expressed extreme concern over Lukashenka's visit to Abkhazia and requested additional clarifications from the Belarusian side," reads the statement.

In a separate statement, the Georgian Foreign Ministry condemned "the violation of the state border by Aliaksandr Lukashenka with his so-called visit to the occupied region of Abkhazia, which is in flagrant violation of the fundamental principles and norms of international law.

"We call on the Belarusian side to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of a sovereign state within its internationally recognized borders and not to take actions that run counter to the fundamental principles of international law," the Georgian diplomatic office said in the statement.
