Armed Forces Of Ukraine Completely Encircle Lyman: Invaders Flee Surrounding Villages

The mousetrap is closing.

On September 30, the Armed Forces of Ukraine completely surrounded the Russian invaders in Lyman due to the recapture of the settlements of Drobysheve and Yampil. Now the enemy units are “mousetrapped”.

This is reported by Apostrophe with a reference to the Russian media.

Russian propagandists write that Russian units are “forced to withdraw” from Yampil and Drobysheve, while the Ukrainian warriors increase their firepower and assault pressure on the enemy, shelling Russian supply routes and finally cutting off Russians from any help.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine cordoned off the Russian invaders in Lyman of the Donetsk region on an extremely symbolic day — the day when the aggressor country Russia is going to join the occupied territories of Donbas to its composition.

As noted by editor-in-chief of the Censor.NET publication Yuri Butusov, the last time the Soviet / Russian army got into the “mousetrap” was in April 1945 during the German counterattack near Bautzen. However, today, September 30, another mousetrap will be added to the pages of the history of the Russian army.

“During the war, starting from 2014, and in 2022 as well, Ukrainian units repeatedly fell into the operational encirclement, and once they got into the “mousetrap” near Ilovaisk. Then about 1,300 Ukrainian soldiers were cordoned off, during the breakthrough from the “mousetrap” 270 of our soldiers died in one day. Now the Ukrainians have a chance to take revenge,” Butusov stressed.

At the same time, some Russian propagandists, unlike their “colleagues”, still cannot understand what is happening in Lyman, calling the encirclement of the Russian troops there “the stranger things”.
