We Have Clear Plan: Ukrainian MFA Claims Readiness For Possible Aggravation On Belarus’ Part

Ukraine is prepared for a possible escalation of the threat from Belarus. The government and the military have a clear plan of action in this case.

Oleh Nikolenko, spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, stated this in a commentary to a target="_blank" href=https://www.rbc.ua/ukr/news/maemo-chitkiy-plan-mzs-gotovnist-mozhlivogo-1674560339.html>RBC-Ukraine.

At the same time, he noted that Russia is trying in every possible way to draw Belarus into a direct war.

“Ukraine warns Minsk against any possible further aggressive plans. For our part, we confirm the absence of any aggressive intentions towards Belarus,” Nikolenko said.

According to him, Ukraine is ready for any development of events and will act exclusively, exercising the right to self-defense, provided for by the UN Charter.

“The defense forces and the government have a clear plan of action in case of an increase in the threat from Belarus,” Nikolenko said.
