'Question About Putin Is Almost Closed'

The Kremlin already knows the name of the future head of Russia.

The entourage of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is already beginning to realise that the aggressor country Russia is losing the war against Ukraine.

As the secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Aleksey Danilov, noted on air of Channel 24, events have already taken place in Russia which indicate that the Kremlin head is doomed to defeat. And people who are in Putin's inner circle are becoming increasingly aware that Russia has no prospects of winning the war against Ukraine.

As the secretary of the National Security and Defence Council noted, the aggressor country is already looking for a replacement for the current Kremlin head.

"The Putin issue in Russia is already almost closed. Someone already knows the name of someone who will work there after Putin," Danilov stressed.

He noted that representatives of the Ukrainian authorities have their own assumptions as to what will happen in Russia next and who can become the dictator's successor. However, the NSDC secretary did not disclose any details.

We remind you that Russian Telegram channels said recently that elites in the Kremlin were actively looking for a successor to Vladimir Putin. This comes against a backdrop of failures on the frontline and the deteriorating health of the Kremlin master. The vast majority in the elites understand that it is impossible to win the war in Ukraine.

Earlier, military analyst and writer Steve Struthers said that there were several candidates for the Russian president's seat in the event of dictator Vladimir Putin's death. He did not rule out that in the event of Putin's death, his potential successors could be: Sergei Ivanov, former defence minister, and former Russian prime minister Dmitry Medvedev, long considered a close confidant of Putin.
