Ales Bialiatski Trolls Lukashenka's Court
ALES BIALIATSKI

The Nobel laureate made propagandists nervous.

Lukashenka's propagandists from Sovetskaya Byelorussia write offendedly that the Nobel Prize winner, head of the Viasna Human Rights Center Ales Bialiatski “is trying to disrupt the trial”.

Propagandists say that Bialiatski is trying to “humiliate the court by mentioning trips to Vilnius to drink coffee, which have long become a mandatory habit for “any real Belarusian.”

The Nobel Peace Prize winner also held an educational program for the court. The propagandists mention some literary works, which, according to Bialiatski, were not read in court.

“In each read volume, Bialiatski seeks out some documents that, in his opinion, must be read out at the hearing, sometimes even repeatedly,” the propagandists are offended.

“Are you not interested in hearing what the UN is saying?” the Nobel laureate trolls the so-called court.

As the Charter97.org website wrote before, Nobel laureate Ales Bialiatski, his deputy Valiantsin Stefanovich, lawyer Uladzimir Labkovich, and human rights activist Dzmitry Salauyou are accused of organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order (Part 2 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code) and smuggling (Part 4 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code).
