Drunk Russian Warrant Officer Kills Young Contract Serviceman

They made him a hero, "killed in action".

In Russia, a drunken warrant officer shot and killed a young contract worker. It was immediately attributed to him that he was "killed in action" and he was made a hero.

This was reported by Toronto Television.

A Russian drunken warrant officer shot and killed a 24-year-old contract serviceman, but the Russian propaganda machine was quick to "rig things up." However, journalists learned about the event from the Russian military prosecutor's office of the Voronezh garrison.

The incident took place back in April 2022, in military unit 91701, where contract serviceman Nikita Frolov was killed during a shooting.

A document of the military prosecutor's office of the Voronezh garrison describes all the details of the incident. However, this does not prevent propagandists from saying that Frolov "died in action".

"At approximately twelve o'clock on 12.04.2022, Senior Warrant Officer A. Zhivitchenko, being in a state of severe intoxication lined up 12 soldiers of military unit 91701, in particular Corporal N. Frolov. After that, without any obvious reason, A. Zhivitchenko took out his PM pistol from the holster, put a cartridge in the chamber and fired at least five shots in the direction of the soldiers standing in front of him," the statement reads.

Nikita Frolov died of his wounds on the spot. The propagandists then claimed that the contract serviceman "died heroically in the battle". They also reported that Putin had awarded the "hero" the Order of Courage.

Nikita Frolov, killed by his own ensign, is from the village of Vorotynskoye near Kaluga. After such a "heroic death" they made a symbol of him by installing a billboard with him on it. In addition, they even held a boxing tournament in his honour.
