AFU Again Destroy Russian Military Base In Makiivka

The neighboring Donetsk could observe the column of fire.

On the evening of February 7, a fire broke out in Makiivka, a satellite city of Donetsk. There was a powerful explosion at a Russian army military base and ammunition depot.

The information was made public in a number of local subpublics, Obozrevatel reports.

The first reports about the fire appeared in the network at about 7 pm (Minsk time). First, the network published a video taken from the direction of Donetsk. Citizens were surprised by the strong fire, which was visible from several kilometers away.

Later, it became known that there was a large-scale fire at the gas pipeline. The neighboring Donetsk could see fire.

Local media reported that the fire might have occurred after a precision-guided shell landed on the Russian army's ammunition depot. Later, a photo was published showing a railroad track running near the site of the fire.

Subsequently, another video was published, taken at close range:

One could see powerful flames;

nearby - undamaged residential buildings in a private sector.

Local media reported the possible location of the fire - the Eastern district of Makiivka.

It should be noted that Makiivka is a satellite city of Donetsk. 14 km to the west is Avdiivka, which the Russian command seeks to capture.

The latest report of the AFU General Staff states that it is near Makiivka, as well as to the south, that the Russian army is storming AFU positions. In particular, offensive attempts occur in the direction of Avdiivka and Ugledar.

As Charter97.org reported, the AFU launched a powerful attack on a Russian "mobik" barracks in Makiivka on New Year's Day, killing hundreds of occupants.
