AFU Attack Wagner Unit In Bakhmut With Thermobaric Shell

The explosion resembles a mini-"Solntsepek".

A video of the use of thermobaric grenade launcher ammunition by AFU fighters has been published online. The effect of the explosion of the ammunition is similar to that of the "Solntepek". The place of use is the outskirts of Bakhmut, which is fiercely stormed by the Wagner units.

The information was made public on the Telegram channel of Yigal Levin, an Israeli military expert.

The video captured the work of the 241st Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The fighters took up a position near a one-storey house on the outskirts of Bakhmut. A few hundred metres ahead is a Wagner unit, which the Russian command has thrown into seizing the town in Donetsk Region.

The first shots show a fighter aiming in the direction of the occupiers. Nearby, his brothers-in-arms wait their turn.

A moment later a shot is fired. A flash appears at the site of the shot, similar to the impact of a thermobaric Solntsepek projectile.

The report indicates that the impact was caused by the RTB-7A ammunition, a projectile produced by Bulgarian weapons manufacturers.

It should be noted that the RTB-7A explosion is accompanied by a powerful shockwave and super-high temperature - up to 1,000 degrees Celsius. The Ukrainian military were aiming at a specific object, which must have been 500-1000 metres ahead - there is hope that they hit it.

The RTB-7A ammunition is produced by Arsenal, Bulgaria's oldest weapons manufacturer.
