This was reported by Viasna human rights activists with reference to several sources. It is known that political prisoner Ihar Losik was on hunger strike for a long time in the penal colony in Navapolatsk, after which he cut his wrists and neck.

Ihar was rescued and sent to the medical unit.

Ihar Losik has been sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment.

We remind that Ihar Losik's wife Darja was also illegally convicted by Lukashenka's regime. She was sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment to be served in a penal colony under the general regime.

Ihar and Darja Losik have a four-year-old daughter, Paulina, who is now being taken care of by her grandparents.
