Explosion Destroys Russian Kalibr Cruise Missiles In Crimea

Ukrainian intelligence has reported details about the attack on Dzhankoy.

An explosion in the town of Dzhankoy destroyed Russian Kalibr NK cruise missiles that were being transported by rail.

This is reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry. "An explosion in the town of Dzhankoy in the north of temporarily occupied Crimea destroyed Russian Kalibr NK cruise missiles while they were being transported by rail. The mysterious 'bang' continues the process of Russia's demilitarization and prepares the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea for deoccupation," the report said.

The intelligence reminded that the missiles were meant to be launched from the surface ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The range of such weapons is more than 2,500,000 kilometres against land targets and more than 375 kilometres against sea targets.

As Charter97.org reported, explosions and gunfire were heard in the town of Dzhankoy last night. Locals said there was no light in part of the town.

Numerous videos appeared on the network in which gunshots and explosions could be heard. Russian propagandists alleged a Ukrainian drone attack.
