Major Railroad Hub, Echelon With Russian Hardware Destroyed In Crimea

The explosions did not stop all night.

At least 10 explosions occurred near a military airfield in Dzhankoy, Crimea, during the night of March 21. Part of the town streets were left without electricity.

Propagandists reported that air defence systems were working, although videos from the scene published by the Ukraine 365 TG channel clearly reveal that the occupants were shooting down drones with submachine guns.

According to another Crimean resident, one drone hit the railway junction.

The News of Armed Forces TG channel specifies that all Russian hardware gets into mainland Ukraine precisely through Dzhankoy.

Ukrainian media report that a strategic railway junction was hit during the night and a train with Russian military equipment, which was heading to the front, was destroyed.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence under the Ukrainian Defence Ministry said that the explosion in Dzhankoy destroyed Russian Kalibr NK cruise missiles. They were just being transported by rail.

"The mysterious 'bang' continues Russia's demilitarisation process and prepares the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea for de-occupation," the Ukrainian Interior Ministry stressed.

"Dzhankoy is the meeting point of all railway branches and is located in Crimea. Therefore, if we disable this particular railway junction, we can paralyse the supply of the enemy. Moreover, in both directions: from and to the Crimean peninsula.

If the railway junction in Dzhankoy is destroyed, the traffic of both passenger trains and echelons of equipment can be made more difficult. The former are carrying soldiers to the front. As for the latter, we don't think you need to explain," Channel 24 notes.
