Ukrainian Border Guards Shot Down Eight Russian Drones

One of the UAVs was carrying a tear grenade.

Ukrainian border guards shot down eight Russian drones, one of the UAVs was carrying a K-51 tear grenade, the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports.

“Over the past three days, border guards have landed eight enemy drones, with the help of which Russian troops conducted reconnaissance activities, or tried to drop ammunition on the positions of the Defense Forces,” the report says.

It is noted that the fighters of the Luhansk border detachment, after “landing” the drone, found on it a drop system with a K-51 aerosol tear grenade.

“Such ammunition sprays a substance that can affect the respiratory tract and can be harmful to health,” the border guards added.
