Telegram Channel: Officials Are Dissatisfied With Lukashenka

The Council of Ministers and the banking sector are turning into a “secret opposition"

The Belaruskaia Vyvedka Telegram channel, which specializes in insider information from Lukashenka’s entourage, writes about the conflict among the establishment:

“The security service handed a classified analytical note to Lukashenka. Its essence reflects the level of approval of his actions. The note reads that a number of senior officials of the state are increasingly disapproving of his decisions over the past year.

The main areas of criticism are: the opening of borders for aggression in Ukraine, the deployment of Russian troops, the unpromising and dead-end situation of the economy, and the policy of isolating the country.”

Sources do not provide specific data, but we know the reaction of Lukashenka. He paused to think because the scale of disapproval is so wide that the replacement of senior personnel could cause even more damage.

Especially alarming is the situation regarding the Council of Ministers and the banking sector. Officials "from the real sector of the economy and finance" are, in fact, slowly turning into a "secret opposition", as they become "in charge" and "blamethrowers" due to economic and financial failure. In any other situation, they are subject to demonstrative cleansing and replacement with more loyal ones. But the cleansing of these managers is impossible since a qualitative replacement will not be possible in the near future because of the lack of alternative ones. Retired security officers are useless in these positions.

The Telegram channel writes that the situation is becoming a problem for Lukashenka:

“The dictator often refers to ‘sabotage’ at meetings, intimidates ‘business executives’ and ‘eggheads’, which even more causes rejection in the minds of officials who are really driven into a corner and powerless to change the situation.

The suicide of Uladzimir Makei became a cold shower for many officials of the first division. Lukashenka begins to feel that he is "going too far". We know that most of the ‘civilian’ officials of the highest level and even close ‘military’ officials, including Siarheienka, Kavalchuk, Pinevich, suffered because of his ‘paranoia’.

Personnel changes will not take long, because, according to our data from the Security Service, Lukashenka’s level of paranoia has reached an unprecedented scale in 30 years.
