Lukashenka Has 'Brother' In Zimbabwe

He wished the dictator good health in response to a request to help him with money.

Aliaksandr Lukashenka would like to receive investments in Belarus from Zimbabwe. He made this statement at a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the African country, Frederick Shawa, who started his visit to Belarus yesterday.

"We are ready not just to exchange goods with you. We are ready to set up joint ventures in your country. We are ready to accept your investments in Belarus if you are interested. And we are ready to build this cooperation in the economy on a civilized basis. All the agreements we reached during my visit to your country will be strictly complied with," Lukashenka was quoted as saying by his press service.

For his part, Shava thanked for the invitations and conveyed warm wishes to Lukashenka from his "brother".

"Let me also pass on my warmest wishes from your brother, President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa. He sends his wishes of good health and further development of relations between our countries," he said.
