New Zealand Imposes Additional Sanctions Against Lukashenka Regime

Politicians and the military fell under the sanctions.

On March 31, New Zealand imposed new sanctions on Belarus and Russia. Politicians and the military, as well as five Russian enterprises, fell under the sanctions.

“In addition to the Ombudsman for Children [of Russia], we are imposing sanctions on another 26 people – five from Belarus and the rest from Russia, to show that we continue to condemn Russia’s actions and express our support for Ukraine. We are also imposing sanctions on an additional five Russian enterprises of strategic importance to Russia,” said New Zealand Foreign Minister Nanaia Mahuta.
