Political Strategist: Putin Won’t Be Able To Protect Lukashenka From Belarusian Volunteers
TARAS BEREZOVETS

They engaged all their forces to wage war with Ukraine.

Political strategist Taras Berezovets, the director of the Berta Communications strategic consulting company and officer of the Ivan Bohun First Separate Special Forces Brigade, explained the significance of the deployment of nuclear weapons in Belarus.

“The defense ministers of Belarus and the Russian Federation signed a document according to which Russian nuclear weapons will be deployed on Belarusian territory.

It is obvious that the Kremlin will not only decide, but, most likely, has already moved tactical nuclear weapons (TNW) to the territory of the Republic. This is a direct violation of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, which was signed by the USSR in 1970.

Such a step by the Russian Federation violates the basic principles of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons by the nuclear states.

In this case, any references by the Russian side to the fact that the Russian Federation and Belarus are united into a single state because supposedly such deployment does not violate agreements, is a lie. Nothing more than a play on words. It is obvious that this can cause an arms race, including among the nuclear states. It brings down the international legal system which controls the proliferation of nuclear weapons.

The West will certainly react to this extremely dangerous step. They will increase the supply of conventional weapons to Ukraine at least. The increasing deliveries of American F-16 fighter jets to us can be linked to Putin's statements (made at the end of March) that he will drag Russian tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus. I think this indirectly influenced Biden's decision to allow supplies of American fighters for Ukraine. It looks like the White House decided to raise the stakes as well as Putin did. Sure, not by the deployment of nuclear weapons in Ukraine (this is propaganda nonsense), but by an increase in the range of conventional weapons supplied to us.

Moreover, I do not rule out that a successful raid into the Belgorod region of the Russian volunteers, opposing the Putin regime, will lead to the fact that Belarusian volunteers fighting in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can arrange something similar having arranged a raid already on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. Thus, calling into question the readiness (ability) of Putin to defend his 'union state', Belarus. Moreover, in fact, he has nothing to defend it - he engaged all the forces to wage war with Ukraine.
