Russian Army Is Retreating Near Vuhledar

The Armed Forces of Ukraine can cut off the supply of the Russian grouping in the Volnovakha region.

While the rebels from the Russian Volunteer Corps were advancing in the Belgorod region, the Russian army began to retreat near Vuhledar.

Russian military propagandist Romanov, in his Telegram channel, citing his own sources, reports the Russian troops were forced to retreat that last night near the village of Volodymyrivka in the Donetsk region, dialog.ua reports.

Volodymyrivka is located in the Volnovakha district - its loss threatens the Russian army with serious problems since in this case the Armed Forces of Ukraine will take under fire control and cut off the supply routes of neighbouring Pavlivka.

Earlier, as part of the so-called "winter offensive", the Russian military tried to make a breakthrough near Vuhledar, but they were defeated and suffered heavy losses.

Vuhledar is considered as one of the possible directions of the counterattack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
