An expert points out problems.
Russia does not fully understand how to effectively use the troops sent from the DPRK to the front. This opinion was expressed by military and political observer Oleksandr Kovalenko.
According to him, the key problem is the interaction between this contingent and the Russian Federation forces. On air at the FREEDOM TV channel, Kovalenko emphasized that the interaction between the units where the North Korean soldiers will be located and within them will be at a very low level.
In addition, communication between units is very important during offensive operations.
"When there is a language barrier, when you can only communicate with each other in general phrases, and the transfer of detailed information is not possible, in fact, the control system will suffer to a significant extent," the observer explained.
The reason for the current situation, according to Kovalenko, is that the FSB was responsible for negotiations on sending DPRK troops to Russia. And they don't know the elements of military science very well there.
"That's why everything looked quite simplified for them: there are 12 thousand North Koreans - let's send them. But what to do with them and how, they don't fully understand. I think that the appearance of the first North Koreans in the 810th separate guards marine brigade is not only a replenishment of resources and restoration of the combat capability of the units, but also an experiment: how they will perform and how to act further. Either they will be integrated into Russian formations as separate units, or they will be created into one continuous formation, which will be focused on a certain direction and have its own area of responsibility," the expert stated.
