Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Comments On Conversation Between Putin, Trump

No one has warned Kyiv.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has denied the information that Kyiv was informed in advance about the telephone conversation between Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

This is reported by Reuters.

‘Reports that the Ukrainian side was informed in advance about the alleged telephone conversation do not correspond to reality. Accordingly, Ukraine could not support or oppose this call,’ Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgy Tykhiy said.

Earlier, The Washington Post reported, citing sources, that Trump and Putin discussed the war in Ukraine by phone. According to the newspaper, Kyiv was informed about this conversation and did not object to it.
