The Russian army stormed the AFU on a mined road.
Russian military propagandists are in uproar after a failed offensive in Kursk region ended with heavy losses among the Russian Armed Forces personnel and hardware.
The Russian troops' offensive against AFU positions, according to Z-war correspondents, was the victim of wrong decisions and insufficient preparation, caused, they claim, by false information passed on to the command, Dialogue writes.
Romanov, a military correspondent, said that the local command, misleading the General Staff, reported that a road had come under Russian control, where a mass blowing up of Russian vehicles then took place.
Without inspection and clearance, Russian units were sent to storm the village of Pogrebki, which caused the heaviest casualties. According to data released by Russian sources themselves, in the morning of November 7 alone, Russian troops lost more than 10 APCs and over thirty fighters.
Reports on Russian social media with Ukrainian footage from the scene reflect the extent of the failure: ‘Meat assault? It's not even that - it's just the murder of personnel,’ military correspondents wrote, resenting that three days after the attack the perpetrators had still not been punished.
