Ground Forces Being Transformed Into Elite Of Ukrainian Armed: Ukraine Will Seize Initiative At Front

The ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are expecting a large-scale transformation, which will affect the situation at the front in favor of Ukraine. The relevant commander of the troops, Major General Mykhailo Drapaty, spoke about the changes.

The reforms will primarily affect the recruitment and training procedures for soldiers. The major general promises to introduce the latest technologies and combat management, digitalization of army processes, changes in the management system, logistics and social support for the military.

“The ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine must become high-tech, flexible and adaptive. The elite! People, technology and transparent management are our focus,” Drapaty emphasized.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are expecting the following innovations:

Military training. Training programs and centers are being reformed, they will have modern simulators and other cutting-edge technologies. The training of a fighter must be better adapted to the needs of the front.

The skills and abilities of the army's foundation, the infantryman, must be as practical and practical as possible, without unnecessary lyricism. The sergeant corps with combat experience will be the bearers of this knowledge.

“The emphasis in these changes will be on the principles of military leadership and knowledge of technology. Without such skills, it is impossible to establish control over the chaos of battle, and now this is one of the main goals of changing the situation at the front,” the commander explained.

Recruiting and social support. A transparent recruiting model without corruption will be introduced in the Ground Forces. Servicemen will also feel changes in social support.

Technology. A Ukrainian infantryman must have a technological advantage over the enemy on the battlefield.

Optimization of management actions. Maneuverability and efficiency of the administrative apparatus, the basis for this will be organizational changes and digitalization.

Logistics and military training are the first areas to feel the changes. They play a huge role in the combat readiness of the Ukrainian army.

“Today, the Ground Forces need changes, new energy of warriors and a modern approach to developing their capabilities. Changes will definitely happen! No matter how difficult it is for us, we have no right not to do this. The Ukrainian people, every warrior, having joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, began to build the army of the future,” Drapaty concluded.
