The head of Chechnya suggested making a "shield" from prisoners on roofs.
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, suggested giving one of the 12 Ukrainian prisoners of war a gun so that he could shoot himself. This was reported by the Russian publication Astra.
It is noted that Kadyrov came to the center of Grozny to hold the so-called "direct line" with residents of the region.
Along with Kadyrov, his guards brought 12 Ukrainian prisoners, one of whom he suggested shooting himself.
"I'll give you a gun now, will you shoot yourself?" Kadyrov asked.
The Ukrainian defender replied that he would not shoot himself because he wanted to live.
"War... they kill. You went out to kill, to die. I'll give you a gun, you'll shoot yourself, you'll die as a hero. You don't want to, right? He wants to kill, but he doesn't want to die. This does not happen! In war, people kill and die. You have to think first. This is not a cartoon for you,” Kadyrov emphasized.
However, it is unknown who exactly Kadyrov suggested shooting themselves.
Journalists also reported that Kadyrov arrived at the prison where Ukrainian prisoners of war are being held and suggested putting them on the roofs of Russian facilities that are being filmed by Western military satellites.
“As if you came back from vacation. They should be put on the roofs of the facilities that were filmed by American satellites, all of them should be put on these facilities. Let them guard our territory,” Kadyrov noted.
