Three Drones Flew To Belarus And Russia During Attack On Ukraine

The Ukrainian Air Force has revealed the details.

The occupiers launched missiles and drones at Ukraine on the night of August 31. Three UAVs flew to Russia and Belarus.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

On the night of August 31, the invaders struck:

with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Voronezh region;

with four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the occupied Donetsk region;

with 52 Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs from the Kursk region.

How the air defense worked

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the enemy's air attack.

“As a result of the air battle, 24 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs were shot down, 25 were lost (fell on their own). Two drones flew in the direction of Russia, and another one — to Belarus,” the military noted.

Air defense operated in the Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Kirovograd, Mykolaiv and Sumy regions.
