Canada And France Will Help Ukraine In Cyber War With Russia

The countries adopted a joint declaration.

Canada and France will jointly help Ukraine defend itself against Russian cyber aggression.

As reported by Ukrinform, this is stated in the joint French-Canadian declaration adopted during the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Canada, Ukrinform reports.

"Our Armed Forces will continue to deepen strategic cooperation in the field of cyber defence in support of Ukraine. We are determined to work with Ukraine and our partners, helping Ukraine to defend its sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity from Russian aggression, both in the traditional sphere and in cyberspace," the statement reads.

It is noted that Canada and France will also "intensify cooperation in the field of training and providing Ukraine with military equipment within the framework of the Contact Group on the Defence of Ukraine."

Paris and Ottawa also promised to "continue efforts to return Ukrainian children deported to Russia." "Canada and France will stand by Ukraine for as long as necessary to stop Russia's war of conquest, which is in flagrant violation of international law, including the UN Charter. Our support for Ukraine's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders is unwavering," the document reads.
