Russia’s Night Attack: Ukrainians Destroyed 58 Out Of 67 ‘Shaheds’

Some of them fled to Belarus.

On the night of Saturday, September 7, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 67 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs. The country's air defense forces shot down 58 drones.

This was reported by the Air Force on Telegram.

It is noted that six more drones left the controlled airspace of Ukraine, flying in the direction of Russia, Belarus and the temporarily occupied Luhansk region. Three more enemy drones were locally lost on the territory of Ukraine, probably falling under the influence of electronic warfare systems.

It is noted that the “shaheds” were launched by the aggressor country from Kursk and Yeysk, Russia, and Cape Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Air defense was in operation in Vinnytsia, Rivne, Khmelnytsky, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Sumy, Kherson and Poltava regions.

On the night of September 7, an air raid alert was declared in a number of regions of Ukraine. Explosions were heard in Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Khmelnytsky regions and in Kyiv. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in an open area in the Pecherskyi district of the capital.
