Speech By Aging Kremlin Dreamer
Vladimir Pastukhov

Putin's speeches finally took the form of reports of the Secretary General at the Plenum of the Central Committee.

Putin's performance at the WEF was on the menu this week, as a result of which I went on a stream with severe PTSD. In order to somehow catch on to the idea, I even compiled a compendium for myself, which did not help much during the broadcast, but I think it is still worth sharing it with others – after all, first of all, it is beautiful:

Putin's speeches finally took the form of reports of the Secretary General at the Plenum of the Central Committee. No one is interested except those who write them. No one listens, except for those who are assigned to the service.

2. The vacuum of thought is filled with unnecessary details. At some point, it starts to look like digital diarrhea. Hundreds of unverifiable numbers about “record iron and steel yields per capita in the country.” The brain turns off, but it seems that Putin really likes it, he enjoys his competencies.

3. When the brain is turned on, a suspicion is born that all this is bullshit. First, the task is to overcome the electricity shortage in the region, and a little later, it is explained that the surge in crypto mining is associated with its surplus. It's either a cross or mining...

4. As always, the main thing that is not said is: there is no war, there is no war, there is no war. This is the main hidden psychological message of the performance. Everything is calm, we are living as we before, we have grandiose plans, and that the neighbor was killed, they have already paid for it. I caught something about the war, only when it came to preferential lending.

5. Annoying obsessive dependence on new-fangled words: zones of advanced development, public-private partnerships, master plans. Post-Soviet newspeak stamps are all over there. The "Far Eastern Quarter" was especially touched. Thank God it's not the 95th...

6. The Chinese guest was like an emperor. He was bored and in his own thoughts. It is becoming increasingly difficult to hide the fact that China is not investing in anything. Meanwhile, China was mentioned barely every single word in the report. I wonder if Putin deceives only others or himself too?

7. Against this background, Belarus looks almost the main investor in the development of Russia's port infrastructure as an ocean power. At least it looks weird. Nevertheless, they are building ports in Vladivostok and Murmansk, relying on Belarusian assistance. It is clear that Lukashenka has already solved all the problems at home and is entering the ocean.

8. Instructions to the government to "resolve issues" – every second word. Any issue is for the government. It's responsible. This partly explains Siluanov's hairstyle: if, at each request, Putin pulls out a hair like Hottabych, then there will be no other.

9. It was very funny about the Russian conquerors of Siberia, who carefully preserved the culture of the indigenous peoples of the North. Spanish conquistadors take off their hats in reverence before Putin's speech, and American Indians die of envy for their Eurasian counterparts.

10. In general, the normal speech of an aging Kremlin dreamer of the era of "silver stagnation".
