The AFU Liberated New Positions Near Pokrovskoye

Syrskyy said that Ukrainian fighters advanced and destroyed the occupants' equipment.

During the Dobropillya operation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine cleared another 3.4 km² of Donetsk region territory from Russian occupants, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky reported on Facebook on October 14.

"Despite the unsuccessful attempts of the enemy to advance in some directions, our soldiers over the past 24 hours conducted search and destruction of the enemy on the territory of 3.4 km² of Pokrovsky district of Donetsk region. Assault units in some directions advanced up to 1.6 km," he wrote.

The AFU commander-in-chief noted the soldiers of the 33rd separate assault regiment and the 253rd battalion.

According to Syrsky, 182.4 km² were liberated during the Dobropillya operation, another 224.7 km² were cleared of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

He also showed a video with footage of the destruction of enemy equipment.
