He told how he got into the Russian army.
Ukrainian military captured a 22-year-old Indian who fought in the Russian army. This was reported on Facebook by the 63rd separate mechanized brigade.
In the video Majoti told that he was a student and came to Russia to study at the university, but got caught with drugs and in order not to sit 7 years in prison, signed a contract for war. He notes that he was promised that he would serve one year and would be released home.
"Someone said they would give 100,000 rubles, someone said half a million, and someone said a million and a half. They didn't give me anything. So everyone is a liar," Majoti said.
He also said that in September of this year he studied for 16 days at a firing range how to hold a machine gun, shoot, and throw a grenade. According to him, four days ago he was moved to the "green zone", and the next day they went to the assault - walked more than three kilometers and had to dig a dug-in. The Indian noted:
"I should have run. I told the commander I didn't want to because I was very tired, my legs and my heart hurt. We had a conflict with the commander - and he told the others: "Take away his radio and let him go - let him go."
According to him, the radio was taken away from him and they scattered, and after 2 - 3 km he came across a Ukrainian dugout. At the same time he swears that he did not intend to fight, he planned to run away immediately, so during the first assault he surrendered to the fighters of the 63 brigade.
"As we can see, the occupiers continue to actively recruit foreigners into their army and only expand the geography," the brigade said.
Majoti says he does not want to go back to Russia because "there is no truth there."
"I'd rather go to prison here. If you can, send me home to India," he says.
