US Talk Show Host Proves To Be More Popular Than Trump

The gap proved to be substantial.

A poll conducted by the Economist and YouGov has found that US President Donald Trump is 16 points behind America's Tonight Show host Jimmy Kimmel in the popularity rankings. This writes The Guardian.

The poll, which surveyed 1,656 American adults, was conducted following the talk show host's temporary suspension from the airwaves due to a falling out with the presidential administration.

Respondents were asked, among other things, whether they had a favorable view of Kimmel and Trump.

As a result, Kimmel moved up 3 positions in the rankings, while Trump dropped 13 positions. The gap turned out to be significant - 16 points.
